Recently I have resumed printmaking, using monotype
techniques. I’m inspired by the versatility of this process to
create transparencies and ambiguities in the subject. As I
explore the possibilities of this technique, I’m using motifs
from the natural world and themes from Aboriginal and
African art. My work focuses on variety in texture, color and
pattern. I often use monotyped paper and images to collage
onto other monotypes giving added depth and dimension.

Using Vegetables as subjects for prints
I've been experimenting with background textures and the use of white ink. I think the white is particularly effect with the garlic.
